Raku (turquoise/copper crackle) Crank clay, 23.5cm across.

My entry for the Artisan Crafts Mythology contest [link] I think I've just managed to scrape in in time! :)

This is one of my larger pieces and is based on the Roman God of the sea, Neptune. I like to think that this is the sort of thing he might keep his fruit in!

This is gorgeous and the texture is very inspiring...I want to make a bowl with an intricate texture, but I only have 2 class periods left to work green. I wonder if I could fit it in with the other things I must try to make!
