Pine-cone Urchin by ~c-urchin I love the texture and colors. It's an interesting, almost industrial take on this particular art form. (Suggested by ~inchworm and Featured by `dedredhed)

I find these spheres intriguing...I like the symmetry and texture. I'd like to see you push the form further, perhaps exploring ellipsoid shapes or having them thrown, in order to develop the surface contours. It'd be nice to see where you go with these!

Thanks so much! Your work is beautiful! I've been doing a ceramic evening class for four years now...and got so into it that I bought my own kiln....I feel that I have now found my style, although it took a while! So yes, I do want to develope these shapes and textures further.....it seems to be a slow process though, I have a small boy, so limited time! :D

Hey Cheers! I've only been here for two weeks...I still haven't found where I can view the DDs!
:iconlinhorra:
The dd's got a bit confusing after the set-up of the site changed; took me a while to find them too. There's a search bar at the top of the page (it says 'search art') - if you type in 'special:dd' you can see the day's features. :) (there should probably be a button somewhere else to view them, but I can't find it...)

Nice! I like how it's tilted to the side, it makes the design more original :D
Congrats on the DD
